Paropsis (sp. nov.) sp (GFM#20) This small crusty beetle is undescribed. It occurs between Sydney and Brisbane (Australia) but is not rare.
It was photographed by Allen Sundholm, a generous buprestid coleopterist who knows my interest for paropsines. Allen has identified most of my buprestidae (Jewel beetle) species (Check tag = Castiarina on this site).
He took this photo and owns the rights to it. Used with permission.
