This is a male Phasmid of the species Orthomeria kangi.
The distinctive feature of this species is the red wings. Males of this species have full wings and are capable of short flights. The body is all black in colour. Unlike the females, have to yet to observe the brown variation in the males.

Orthomeria kangi is a species of stick insect from the family of Aschiphasmatidae that was first described in February 2016.
Orthomeria (O.) kangi is readily distinguished from all other congeners by the distinctive blood red colouration of the costal region of the hind wings.
