I have no idea what kind of a bug this is, but the leaves definitely belong to a dog-rose (rosa canina)...

  1. Some female Bibio (Diptera, Nematocera, Bibionidae) ... I really can't hazard a guess to species .... Bibio femoratus, pomonae, nigriventris and possibly some others might all be candidates. You'll need someone specializing in these for a ID - maybe on diptera.info ? Posted 8 years ago
