    1. Soldier beetle indeed. The Rhagonycha fulva (kleine rode weekschild) looks exactly like these and is the very common one, so I guess these are that specie too. Posted 13 years ago, modified 13 years ago

  6. Sorry, but I've removed the ID on these - it is certainly not Rhagonycha fulva. What it _is_ - I'm afraid I can't say. Can't even readily find a decent checklist for the Cantharidae of Israel :o( Will try to find out more, but don't hold your breath ... Cheers, Arp Posted 7 years ago
