Beetle in Black The site ahw.me says this Phyllobius Betulinus beetle is one of the better looking snout beetles with his black base color and shiny gold hairs. I can only say that I agree. It also looks like it has sunglasses on ;)<br />

  1. Nice find! I still have to meet the first snout beetle. Where did you find this? Posted 13 years ago
    1. To be honest at the toilet at Philips in Best where I work. It would starve to death there, so I caught it in a small tin candy container and took it home. There I took some pictures and released it outside afterwards. I think we are both happy now, he is outside and I have a nice picture.

      The beetle was actually so small I only noticed that it has such a nice colors when I saw the macro pictures.
