
Stick Insect, Phasmid - Phanoclocrania dorsuaria
This is a Stick Insect, Phasmid - Phanoclocrania dorsuaria.
When it was first described by Stål back in 1875, it was placed under the genus name of Bostra.
In the year 2011, 2 German taxanomists - Hennemann & Conle studied this species further and created a new genus called Phanoclocrania and placed this species under it.
At the moment, there are only 2 species placed under the genus Phanoclocrania.
This species is rarely seen.
