Mother Tarantula Saw this Mother Tarantula together with her babies in a small hole on the wall side of a trail in a remote mountain.
The first day we saw them, the Mother was in a hole guarding over her babies. On the third day, the babies started to leave the 'home' and eventually even the Mother Tarantula also came out to the open.
1. That is so cool, I don't think I've ever seen baby tarantulas. Interesting that you don't know the species yet still decided to put your hands next to a mother protecting young :) Posted 9 years ago, modified 9 years ago
    1. Yes, we were very excited to see the whole bunch of baby Tarantulas with the Mother. Good thing we found them very near to our Resort and was able to keep returning to check on them.

I was aware that the Tarantulas can be venomous but this was such a good opportunity not to missed. I even got my friend to pose next to it :D
