  2. Yes but that was a year ago.
    I now have a Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX for Canon with home made diffusers, of course.
    It was a great move because beetles are also sometimes very reflective.
    And the 65mm dedicated macro lens allows little natural light in.
    Paropsisterna octomaculata A bright orange and black leaf beetle which is common in tropical Australia and very variable.<br />

    My two options for improved quality are now
    1/ bigger sensor camera.
    2/ learn photography. (I'm a bit of a point and shoot man)
