Melibe Nudibranch This is a fairly large size Nudibranch, around 30cm in size. Mostly brownish and translucent in colour.<br />
The genus of this Nudibranch, Melibe has a very interesting feeding habit, it has the oral hood which it can expand to envelope its food, mostly small crustaceans from the sandy surface.  They are usually seen at night time and probably dig themselves into the sandy bottom to hide during day time.
