    Yup, that's one of my favorites. I was so lucky, too. I was walking back on a raised ledge, only a few hundred meters away from the kibbutz, when I stumbled upon one curious pup. I froze, and he walked past me, and back to where his siblings were hanging out, 15 meters behind me. I had walked right above them and completely missed them! I took a good number of photos, and eventually noticed one of the parents coming back, so I took my cue and left them alone.

The Arabian red fox

The Arabian red fox is a subspecies of the red fox native to Arabia, specifically Dhofar and Al Hajar Mountains in Oman and they are also found in UAE Syria, Jordan and Israel to Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The Arabian red fox is similar in color to the common red fox. However, it is more adapted to desert life than its parent species. The fox's ears are much larger, and its body is much smaller than that of the red fox.
