  1. Thank you for delivering so fast! Posted 9 years ago
  2. This guy doesn't have the yellow ridges on the head and pronotum of Microcentrum retinerve. Amblycorypha sp. have this kind of patch between the wings, but I don't know which species it is.

    1. I did lots of research... This guy matches up the best in the Lesser angle-wing Katydid group... Posted 9 years ago
      1. Sorry, I cannot agree with you. All these photos from different sources show the same yellow ridges which this one doesn't have. What are your references?

          1. Sorry, I've missed your post. These sources don't seem to be very reliable. Two of the photos are by the same person. Did you upload it at BugGuide? They have some experts and I would like to see what they would come up with. Posted 9 years ago
    2. #2 : https://goo.gl/images/oWKxNA Posted 9 years ago
      1. Sorry, the address above is the same as #1 ... I will send the next one now.. Posted 9 years ago, modified 9 years ago
  3. Insects can be terribly tricky - what looks like a great match at first look can turn out to have tons of little details that don't match at all or you'll find 6 lookalikes with the identifying details being on the microscopic level. I really like to submit to BugGuide for good solid IDs. Not everything gets a match quickly, but they do often come through. Posted 9 years ago
    1. Yes, they can be quite tricky to identify! Thanks for the tip; I will try it out! Posted 9 years ago
