  1. Coelogyne mossiae is a rare species found in India. This is most likely Coelogyne glandulosa/Coelogyne nervosa or a hybrid.

    1. Thanks, I think you're right. I was basing my identifications from Lankester on the labels provided there, but I've found a couple of other cases where I think they were incorrect too. I have relabeled it as glandulosa for now, though that identification may be questioned as well. Posted 9 years ago
      1. Coelogyne glandulosa is a synonym of Coelogyne nervosa.

Coelogyne nervosa is more orange that's why this is more likely a hybrid. The best match is pictured in the first reference as: Hybrid Coelogyne Unchained Melody (pale form pictured) and in the last reference above. Coelogyne cristata, which is one of the parents is similar too, so I don't know which one would be better.

        1. I was looking at this picture: http://www.orchidspecies.com/coelglandulosa.htm. But if in fact it is the same as C. nervosa, then these is a discrepancy on IOSPE because C. nervosa is definitely more orange. That photo may also be of the hybrid. Posted 9 years ago
          1. There are two notes in this link warning that Coelogyne nervosa may be a synonym and that the determination may not be reliable. It also looks very much like this one which is another synonym of C. nervosa...

The main entry for C. nervosa however looks different.
