Helena gum moth (Opodiphthera helena) This emperor moth is a big sister to the emperor gum moth and similar to the popular American polyphemus moth.<br />
The larvae are distinct with more numerous and finer tubercles and the adult is slightly more bright and large.  <br />

The Helena gum moth is a moth in the family Saturniidae. It is found along the eastern coast of Australia.
The wingspan is 130-170 mm. The larvae feed on ''Eucalyptus'' species.
