Lacewing makes a friend I thought things would get interesting as this lacewing and drone ant crossed paths, they merely crossed antenna for a moment and went along their way. Peaceful bug meeting.     Hi Stuart,
    sorry to say, but I'll remove the ID. This is certainly not Chrysoperla carnea, but rather some Chrysopa sp. These are quite tricky to ID from photo and I have no clue as to the southern Mediterranean species, so I'm afraid I really can't offer an alternative ID :-/     Posted 5 years ago
