Paropsisterna sp#32 This diminutive beetle is always pale and has distinctively plain pronotum when compared to its allies such as variicollis, decolorata and agricola.<br /> This beetle is in the centre of a difficult set of species complexes. Although I have a list of possible names, it is almost impossible to determine which name was allocated originally to this species. This diminutive beetle is always pale and has distinctively plain pronotum when compared to its allies such as variicollis, decolorata and agricola.
This beetle is in the centre of a difficult set of species complexes. Although I have a list of possible names, it is almost impossible to determine which name was allocated originally to this species. It shall remain uncertain until I gain more field data and experience to sort out this tricky section.
