any help with species ID muchly appreciated the world of fungi mushrooms and lichens hurts my head

  1. unfortunately little brown mushrooms are a mystery that is often without a solution - unless you pick a sample and take it to an expert with a microscope and a great knowledge of spore shapes… even then it probable isn't guaranteed. I can tell you that those are probably mycena of some sort, but there are tons of species and many of them look quite similar to one another Posted 9 years ago
