A very large what i believe to be parasitic wasp. While photographing a few I felt a bit nervous just because of their odd look and seemingly erratic behavior. A very cool insect! Please help me identify!

  1. First I thought it was Gasteruptiidae, but looking again it resembles mostly Ichneumonidae, a female, with a large ovipositor. There's a chance to be Dolichomitus sp. But it is just a guess. Cheers*
