
Commonly called tortoise beetles or leaf beetles. Their small size, bright colours and patterns, and roughly hemispherical shape, can cause them to be mistaken for ladybeetles.
P. wilsoni is a small convex Paropsis species widespread across all states except Tasmania and much of Victoria, preferring inland habitats.
