  2. We have been searching for this one for some time but Geoff went to Cairns (he's there now) and this is the first thing he found.
    It is closely related to rufitarsis and I predict he will find this one next.

Commonly called tortoise beetles or leaf beetles. Their small size, bright colours and patterns, and roughly hemispherical shape, can cause them to be mistaken for ladybeetles.
P. wilsoni is a small convex Paropsis species widespread across all states except Tasmania and much of Victoria, preferring inland habitats.
