Ankarana National Park slopes On our first day in Ankarana, we hiked for a few hours to reach this lookout point from which we could see almost all of Ankarana. This is a stitched panorama of the view behind us (which is east, I think). As you can see, the general park habitat is a mixture of dry forest and savanna patches. Ankarana isn&#039;t famous for its forest though, it is a Tsingy site and also has an cave system that is likely the largest in the whole of Africa.<br />
