Camponotus singularis This is the soldier version of the species. The head is enormous and very intimidating, but the ant is not aggressive, at least towards me. Whenever you see a few workers around the bush, one or two of these soldiers will not be far away. Camponotus singularis

The Camponotus singularis

Camponotus singularis is a red-headed Asian ant species. They feature large workers and since they are polymorphic, there are three castes of workers.
