Digging bees - possibly Colletes species These little guys can dig quite fast. I believe this one is probably a female, as what I read indicated that males do not collect pollen. They are more likely to be Colletes than Andrena, as there were a large number nesting quite near one another. Andrena don&#039;t usually do this.<br />
