Cassiopea (upside down jellyfish)
Close up Cassiopea or (upside down jellyfish)
This one is right side up and is on the move. They are found in warm coastal water in the shallow in Florida and the Caribbean where they turn themselves upside down and suction themselves to the bottom with their tentacles facing up. This orientation provides photosynthetic zooxanthellae with critical access to light.
