  1. Hi wildlifeonwalkabout! I believe the butterfly you are looking for is the silvery blue, more specifically a female, quite a rare find indeed! While the silvery blue is indigenous to north america, they have started being introduced to many sanctuaries in the uk and australia.

    1. I would never dare identifying a blue butterfly without seeing the underside of the wings or both sides. Assuming that an American species would be found in Australia doesn't sound realistic either. Posted 9 years ago
