Urban mushroom I found these odd little guys coming up in the grass strip between the sidewalk and street. At first I thought they might be some sort of bolete - but this one was damaged on the other side and clearly shows gills, even though they are quite encased in a very heavy veil. I still haven't found a good match for it, even though it looks kind of  distinctive with it's thick yellow stem and hairy cap. Fall,Geotagged,United States Click/tap to enlarge
