  1. Do you get Calocera viscosa in the US? this looks very similar. Posted 9 years ago
    1. We do - but we have a ton of hard to differentiate corals. I don't think this one is Calocera viscosa - it not very orange - more of a pale yellow and pretty dry. That one is rather jelly like, especially when it's wet out. Posted 9 years ago
      1. C,V, in the UK can be very variable in colour and texture, but the finishing points turning into "tuning forks" can be diagnostic. Posted 9 years ago
        1. I think it also looks a great deal like this one - http://www.svims.ca/council/illust/Lentaria%20pinicola%205%20Michael%20Beug.htm but again the color is my question. The sample in the photo looks kind of old, but other photos look pale too, so I'm still not convinced. Posted 9 years ago
