  1. We have never been able to find one of these that hasn't been eaten by slugs or snails, which doesn't make for a great photo like this. Posted 9 years ago
    1. They do deteriorate quickly - I saw plenty that were turning to mush or munched on too, but thankfully around here we have so many... and they pop up pretty quickly. I can wait until I find a really nice one that the bugs (or the chipmunks... they love to munch some species) haven't been at yet. Posted 9 years ago
