Mosquito Larva I didn't think taking live shots of this insect would be that challenging but at 1:1 it is very difficult to get any sharpness. Their breathing is very fast and its hairy extremities are moving constantly. It has hairs at its antennas which move like fans.   1. Although the siphon doesn't look very long, I would say that this is probably Culex sp. because I can see multiple tufts on the siphon. Posted 7 years ago
