Layers of life So this is a closer photo of the last subject, which is a mold that grows on mushrooms... <br />
so - mushrooms grow on decomposing plant materials, the mold grows on the mushrooms, and these tiny spring tails seem to quite love the mold.. I&#039;ll bet if I could look even closer there&#039;s something even smaller living on the springtails. Fall,Geotagged,United States Click/tap to enlarge
