Unidentified eggs under a leaf with spider mite Found a leaf on the floor in Corfu, unable to identify the plant that it came from but did notice these eggs on the underside. Also some kind of parasite too?<br />

I&#039;m not sure if these belong to a spider/butterfly or something else I&#039;m afraid. They were pretty small (had to use the x10 lens attachment to capture them with any detail)<br />

Unidentified eggs under a leaf with spider mite

Found a leaf on the floor in Corfu, unable to identify the plant that it came from but did notice these eggs on the underside. Also some kind of parasite too?

I'm not sure if these belong to a spider/butterfly or something else I'm afraid. They were pretty small (had to use the x10 lens attachment to capture them with any detail)

Any ideas what they could be?

  1. They could be a variety of things... the resemble at very least, both moth and stink bug eggs (and likely many other beetles) - though if you look really closely it does appear that there is a worm or caterpillar like creepy crawling exiting one of those eggs. It's the third one up on the bottom right edge. Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago
    1. I think there is a red mite on those eggs, that is probably what you see. Posted 10 years ago
