«Boiga cyanea» | Green Cat Snake (juvenile)

A mildly venomous Cat snake with amazing large and lovely eyes.
Some individuals are very curious, the most are very aggressive. All are arboreal and feed on lizards, snakes, eggs, small mammals and small birds.

Great Photo! I'm heading to Thailand by the end of this month and plan to go find some snakes. Clearly you've done well. I'll be in Koh Tao most the time. Got any tips? Posted 10 years ago

  Hi, thank you. There is no matter, where you are in Thailand! Snakes are everywhere!!! By day look for Ahaetulla (Vine snakes) and Chrysopelea (Flying snakes). They are both common species in bushes and trees. Also close to the beach and along the streets in the bushes. Chrysopelea is often found in houses. And you have to watch out at night with a torch!
