    1. Thought it looked similar to European species like the four lined snake or leopard snake but neither are perfect matches. Posted 9 years ago
      1. I think it is some kind of Vipera but there are many of them and I haven't found the right one either. Posted 9 years ago
        1. That is an interesting thought however it seems the vipera species all have slit eyes and not the rounded pupils. But keeping with the viper idea what about the Causinae subfamily of night adders? Posted 9 years ago
          1. Causus are only found in sub-Saharan Africa so they should not be found in Turkey. Posted 9 years ago
