Unassuming little fly (ed. nope!) in Montreal, Canada Friends on Facebook pointed out the eyes looked beeish (not proof of course, there&#039;s so many mimics around) then another pointed out that bees have 5 eyes (three on top of head, like this guy), then another friend found a news article about how &quot;sweat bees&quot;, normally found south of the border, were becomming more common in Canada!<br />

All together I&#039;m going to call it, this is a &quot;Sweat Bee&quot;. They are often green and are named that way because they apparently are attracted to sweaty humans for some reason :) Agapostemon texanus,Canada,Geotagged,Green sweat bee,Spring,fly,flying insects,insects Click/tap to enlarge

All together I'm going to call it, this is a "Sweat Bee". They are often green and are named that way because they apparently are attracted to sweaty humans for some reason :)
