View of the Stuarts from Yellow Hill Here's a little teaser from this weekend's adventure. We hiked in the Teanaway Community Forest. This is just over the Cascades from Seattle and is a dry forest biome. It doesn't get a whole lot of rain or snow, but is able to support conifer forests with sparse ground cover. We found tons of wildflowers blooming and even (we think) heard a full on wolf pack serenade. We're not entirely sure if it was wolves or coyote, but we can't recall hearing the yipping that would indicate coyotes. There's also a known wolf pack in the area, so it is quite possible it was wolves. It was beautiful and kind of haunting. We did not see any wolves or coyote, but I think that may have been a bit scary! Geotagged,Spring,United States Click/tap to enlarge
