Dragonfly on New Growth of Maple I'm afraid I don't know what kind of dragonfly this is. It landed on this maple twig while I was trying to photograph an emperor butterfly. I don't normally see the dragonflies perched this high (just over head high) but I'm not sure if that's because they usually don't, or if it's because they're harder to spot among twigs and leaves. 1. Do you have some kind of side view for identification? Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago
    1. I'm afraid not; this was the only angle I could get. Posted 10 years ago
  2. I'm intrigued, the white/blue combination is not something I can recall seeing before. I'm not an expert though. Posted 10 years ago
