The not so photogenic Oriental Honey Buzzard Well this is a bit of a record shot, but the best i have ever managed to get of one of these. They tend to stay clear of humans, and fly away between the trees where they perch upon our arrival. So as it darted between the trees, i managed this one in focus (ish) pic where you can actually see the bird. 1. Wonderful! They seem to have very deep red eyes. Posted 10 years ago
    1. It does in deed! :)
The eyes of the subject are very important for me in general, often I sit for a long time waiting for the catchlight in the eye before shooting, but in this case it was just lucky the eye came out so well! :)
