Don't know the correct species but this large spider was captured in Cornish, N.H. (USA) following a rain shower.

  1. looks like a funnel weaver - I'll work on a more detailed ID

    with bug guide I can get as far as it's likely to be in the genus Agelenopsis and female, but there's not much information past there. There are 13 species. You may be able to narrow this down by excluding those that don't occur in your area, but if more than one species does exist in New Hampshire, the only way to positively ID her would be with a microscope.
