During the day it lives in a retreat made from leaves curled and woven together with silk, at night it sits on an orb web, awaiting its prey. Currently there are two of these in the garden, both with differing markings. Hopefully one day I shall find out what it is! 1. Fantastic shot, Claire! Posted 10 years ago
    1. Thank you Ferdy. I do feel a little bit guilty on this one. I couldn't find the spider so I was moving the curled up leaves and the poor thing fell out. So I grabbed a few shots and left him/her to it. Posted 10 years ago
      1. It happens, I'm sure it will be fine :) I have a few deaths to my name as well, photographing grasshoppers who thanks to my actions jump straight into a cog web. Posted 10 years ago
