The builders These ants (i&#039;m not that much into Myrmecology so not sure what the hell it is, am assuming an ant???) start their homes here and there amongst the grass at work. This is one of my few ventures into the world of Macro. not having a macro lens, i reversed my plastic-fantastic 50mm f/1.8. <br />

    1. I think termites don't have a "waist", so those are probably ants. If anyone wants a stab at id'ing them here's a good web site http://www.antweb.org/taxonomicPage.do?rank=genus&project=indiaants&images=true
      would be a hard puzzle to solve though
