A species of hawk that I haven't identified yet. Maybe someone can help me out with that.

  1. It can be difficult to get an exact identification without seeing the plumage from the wings and the tail. If I had to guess, I would say that it looks very much like a juvenile Cooper's hawk, based on similar portraits that I have found:

    But I would feel more comfortable with this ID if a few other users were to either agree or dispute.

    2. I agree, we need to see more of the bird to be positive. I found this list which may help, but we still need more visual details:
