Caterpillar Race to the Flower <br />
I took a walk through Salmon River, in Colchester, Connecticut, and came up to a bunch of trees that had these webs on the sticks and stems, and this one from long above me had caterpillars on it, and what looks like a race to the pink flower.<br />

  2. This is not a flower but a shoot with young stipules and leaves which have been eaten by the caterpillars. Posted 10 years ago
