Spotted this golden fungus on a log in Windsor, Vermont (USA). It was taken November 26, 2014 but need some help in naming the species.

  1. It's a bit small (immature) to really be able to tell, but it looks like the beginnings of a jelly fungus. It's possible that it is Dacrymyces palmatus, if it is on pine wood or Tremella aurantia if found on a hardwood Posted 10 years ago
