Crocosmia 'Lucifer', a.k.a montbretia, doesn't even come up in species search? Travesty!

  1. Some explanation on species search. It can fail for 2 reasons:

    - No english wikipedia species page exists for it. If that is the case, you can request manual species creation by our moderators. That option is under the advanced section of the identification dialog.

    - It is not a species. I searched eol.org for "Crocosmia 'Lucifer'" and it comes up empty. That usually means it's not a species. I'm not a plant expert but it could mean that this is a genus or a cultivation of a differently named species.

    In this case, my gut feeling is that this exact combination of terms is not a species, but I'm not sure.
