Knock Out Rose
Blooms are fire engine red in cool weather and a cherry red in the summer.
Species of roses include wild varieties that developed naturally over time, as well as hybrid varieties, such as Knock Out roses, which were carefully crafted and bred by people to achieve desirable characteristics. The Knock Out rose species was developed by crossing Carefree Beauty and Razzle Dazzle roses. The Carefree Beauty is also known as the Katy Road Pink rose. Because Knock Out roses were introduced in 1999, they are classified with other species of modern roses.
