    1. After looking at some pictures on the internet, I believe you are correct. I didn't read anything, but is it still of the mosquito line or something totally different? Posted 5 years ago
      1. A quick google suggests Crane flies are in the family Tipulidae whilst Mosquitos are in the family Culicidae. Both families are in the Nematocera group but Crane flys are in their own infraorder. Tipulidae is as I'm lead to believe the largest group of flies containing the most species. Im still very new the Entomology so I have a hard time understanding it myself but I'm sure someone on here could enlighten us both :). Posted 5 years ago
