Doublelicious A Hemerocallis Daylily "Doublelicious" bloom in my backyard. Taken in the morning before the sun was shining directly on it helped to get a smooth rendering of the translucent petals. This one got a painterly treatment through blended application of the Simplify and Adjust filter from Topaz Labs. and I cropped the original portrait-oriented capture to a square format to create the flower "portrait".   1. This looks more like Freesia, not Hemerocallis Daylily. Maybe it is some kind of hybrid. Posted 10 years ago
