This is an image I took with my Digimax camera. I held the snail up on a twig with one hand, and took the image with the other. I like it because although the snails eyes are on the end of it's antenna, the image with the Sun the way it is, makes it look like the snail has a face and it's looking right at you!

    Hi,
    My apologies.
    The image was taken in my back garden in Huyton in Liverpool. I believe the species is the Garden Snail-Helix Aspersa.
