Elder aphid (Aphis sambuci) ? Found it lurking under a nasturtium. Think this is the correct id but will do some checking first.<br />

        Please find hereby he answer of Dr. R. Dransfield:

        The wax patterns on the nymph also suggest that species.
        Above-ground populations of Aphis sambuci are pretty much restricted to elder (Sambucus nigra), so it is unlikely to be that species.
