Oenochroma defense pose
Oenochroma means 'wine coloured' from the Greek oeno (wine) and chroma (colour). Due to the beautiful colour of the adult moths.
Perhaps O. vinaria, but markings appear slightly different from others I've found.
Seen eating fresh shoots on Hakea purpurea.
It adopted this defense pose when I moved the stem.
30 mm length.
