- Bengt Andersen: Not Altica, probably Aphthona nonstriata.
But perhaps too big for that species, which is max 3 mm.
- Michael Geiser: Aphthona sp. There are several dark-coloured species in south-eastern Europe, so I have no idea if it's nonstriata or something else. I also think 4mm is a bit too much as an estimate, also in comparison to the flower.
Btw. The flower (Euphorbia) is one of the main reasons why I think it's Aphthona. Most alticines are quite host specific. Posted 11 years ago
