  1. Spodoptera litura isn't known to occur in North America. I agree it's Spodoptera, though...maybe Spodoptera ornithogalli.

    1. Spodoptera praefica (western yellow-striped armyworm) That is what I came up with originally but for some reason found an image of Spodoptera litura,which also looks very similar to.
      What do you think ,Christine?

      1. I really struggle with IDing noctuids, but think that you're right -- it could be Spodoptera praefica. I would say it's your call if you want to add that ID. Posted one month ago
